He said, "I came from a below middle class family background. I used to lie along with my friends in the fields of our village during evenings. Once, watching the aero plane that goes in the sky, my friend asked the other, 'who will be there in that flight'? I answered with ignorance that film stars travel in that and go America. Indeed, we believed that. Since then I used to have wild dream to board plane and go America. And that happened today only because of audiences' blessings. I'm very happy to be in America".

The event is being shown in Television Channels on the occasion of 'Durgashtami'

Observation: Aamir feels Munnabhai was tough competition!

Though Aamir Khan-starrer Rang De Basanti managed to beat Omkara and Lage Raho Munnabhai to become India’s official entry for the Oscars, Aamir himself feels the competition to RDB was more from the Sanjay Dutt-starrer. “I’ve seen both the movies and I must say Munnabhai was a wonderful film and it was a tie between both the movies, but the people who selected Rang De Basanti must have felt that it deserved to be the entry,” he says. We don’t know what the Omkara team feels about it, but we’d sure like to know.

Reel Talk: Fight between Ileana and Tamanna!

Ravi Krishna’s ‘Jaadu’ has been released in Tamilnadu and proved to be an average hit. Brothers Jyothi Krishna and Ravi Krishna are well appreciated for their team work.

The Story line in brief is Ravi Krishna, Tamanna and Ileana study in same college, where Ravi Krishna is an easy going boy and never cares for his career. He falls in love with Ileana.

Tamanna, the sister of Home Minister does not like this and she wishes to separate them. Did Tamanna succeeded in separating them is the theme that runs on screen. Tamanna`s role has the shades of Ramya Krishna in ‘Narasimha’ and Nagma in ‘Gharana Mogudu’. Jaadu is going to release in the Month of October in Telugu.

Let’s wait and see how far this film works well in Telugu.

Observation: Gun-Point On Media With ‘Desa Muduru’!

We all know how Puri Jagannth has criticized the electronic media in the film Pokiri through Shayaji Shinde’s Character. Now in his new movie ‘Desa Muduru’, hero Allu Arjun is a Journalist. So we have to wait and see if Puri targets and criticize media or shows the good and bad in the field as he had shown good and bad police officers in Pokiri.

But unofficial sources say that there would be big blow for media in this film. Puri needs to go in sane way in this matter.

Well, a trivial observation says that Pawan Kalyan also portrayed the role of media personnel in the film ‘Bangaram’.

Reel Talk: Chiranjeevi Was a Translator to Murugudas

Murugudas can neither speak nor write Telugu. He can only converse in broken English which cannot be understood by many. Then how could he manage to direct the film 'Stalin'?

Well, in many occasions when Chiranjeevi was in the sets, he used to interpret what Murugudas was saying to his unit members.

Tamil had been the common language for South Indian film circles till 1991, but the days have changed now. When film industry shifted to Hyderabad , the new generation film team hardly speaks and understands Tamil.

Only the old generation people are comfortably coping with Tamil speaking directors or technicians.

Thus, Chiranjeevi took it as a pleasure to translate the words of Murugudas into Telugu.

Snippet: Ayesha Takia's Ideas On Rebirth

Ayesha Takia, the flat tummy girl with voluptuous appeal shares her feelings and personal aspects recently.

Saying about her new film 'Dor', she says, "It is an intelligent film that depicts the story of girls and their self confidence levels. Nagesh Kukunoor is the genius and everybody knows that. He made the movie on intellectual scale. First time, I appeared without big glamour in this film. Well, I feel that glamour is not the only thing that matters in a heroine's career".

She added saying, "I played the role of a traditional Rajput girl. It took time for me to get into the role of innocent Meera as I'm from high Mumbai. I never went to college to learn history as I got into modeling at a very early age, say at 15".

Saying about personal feelings on rebirth, "I never believe in rebirth. I don't like to born again as well".

At last she said that her weak point is her boy friend. But she negated to tell out about her first dating experience.

She is about to groove in a few Bollywood films shortly.

Tidbit: Heroes Love To Have '7th Film with Bhoomika'

Bhoomika is a well know actress in Telugu who acted with almost all Top heroes. A strange sentiment is working for many heroes who are acting their 7th movie with Bhoomika .

'Kushi', is the 7th movie for Pavan Kalyan in which Bhoomika is the heroine and that turned a big hit. Similarly Jr.NTR and Mahesh Babu also had Bhoomika as their heroine for their 7th movies 'Simhadri' and 'Okkadu' respectively.

Now Actor Raja is acting in a film "Mayabazar" with Bhoomika . As an actor this is not 7th movie for him, but as a hero it's happening to be 7th.

Bhoomika has given blockbuster hits to all and let's hope Raja will also find his luck with Bhoomika. Indraganti Mohanakrishna is directing 'Maya Bazar'.

Film Talk: Eyes on the Two Hot Tamil Films

Now, the eyes on pinned on two big budget Tamil films. One is Rajni Kanth's 'Shivaji' and the other is Kamal Hassan's 'Dasavataram'.

Shankar's 'Shivaji' has been undergoing shooting from quite a long time. Since last one month, Shankar has been saying that only 80% of the shooting is completed. No one knows when it would complete and when it hits the screens. Shriya is pairing up with Rajni in this film. It is estimated that a budget of Rs. 35 Crore is invested on it so far.

Kamal Hasan's 'Dasavatar' is another film that is attracting the masses. Kamal is rocking ahead with big budget schemes of about Rs.35 crore. He is portraying 10 different roles in the film and at the same time working big on graphics and other imported stuff. About 10 heroines are grooving in the film.

Both the films are set to release in 2007 as per fresh sources!

Trade Talk: Both 'Stalin and 'Boss' Are Undergoing Litmus Test!

Making the expectations of trade circles true, the film 'Stalin' collected a whopping Rs. 15 crore in the first week. Thus, it broke the Rs.13 Crore record of 'Tagore' as well. But the second week collections turned very crucial for the film. Trade pundits opine that if the film collects three-fourths of the collections what it made in first week, it can be termed as a film landed on safe side. The film lacked in entertainment and seriousness is blended more in it. Hence, the film is not reaching the expectations of audiences with respect to entertainment.

'Boss' is the fresh film that's put to test before audiences. The film is getting positive remarks for first half, but the second half is considered to be sagging and pale. As Nagarjuna said that the film would be on par with Santosham, Manmadhudu and Nenunnanu, the audiences assumed that there would be more entertainment in the film that seriousness and sentiment. On the other hand the climax turned highly predictable and that killed the enthusiasm of the audiences. Another week has to be waited to understand the plight of this film.

Film news: Kamal Hasan's 'Dasavataram' Story Leaked!

Kamal Hassan's 'Dasavataram' is in its making and going on at good pace. The film is going to show puranas in news style, depicting the contemporary society.

The tentative theme of the film was unleashed a few hours ago. Kamal is portraying the roles of orthodox Brahmin, a Karate Fighter, a dwarf, a scientist, a spy, an out cast person, a dark man, , a robber, a philosopher and a special role. There is corresponding similarity to all the roles played by him and the Dasavatarams. Look here:

Spy- Matsya
Scientist- Kurma
An Outcast- Varaha
Karate Fighter- Narasimha
Dwarf- Vamana
Brahmin- Parasu Rama
Dark Man- Rama
Robber- Krishna
Philosopher- Buddha
?- Kalki

Well, who would be Kalki, the tenth incarnation? That will be shown on screen in grand way. The film is going to interpret 10 incarnations of Lord in modern times. All 10 characters will be independent and go as single episodes.

Now, interest on this film is multiplying. Isn't it?

Star Talk: Genelia's Says About Her 'Iron Leg' Image!

Genelia says that she is not inclined for item songs. She also recalls that she never did any item song.

"I chose films by considering story, banner and director. All the roles that I played so far are picked up in similar way. I played a cute girl's role in Sye and a responsible heroine role in Bommarillu", she added.

Genelia also shared saying, "Initially I was called 'iron leg' in the industry. But I don't know how a heroine becomes responsible for a flop. Lot many things will influence for a film either hit or flops. 'Satyam', the film in the early days of my career itself was a hit".

Well, Genelia is now awaiting her new release 'Dhee' in the direction of Sreenu Vaitla. She paired up with Vishnu in the film.

Screen Talk: ‘I can wear a half-saree and still look hot’

She’s one of the most glam girls in the Telugu and Tamil industries at the moment. But the veejay-turned-actress says it’s no big deal. “What’s the challenge in looking glam? Anybody can do it. Look around — everybody’s working hard trying to look glam — it’s not hard to achieve!”

Which is why the actress has now decided to do deglamorised roles. “I know it’s drastically different, but I’m not going to be a part of the bandwagon and push myself towards a very achievable target,” she says. And she kept her word in her latest Tamil flick Thimiru. “I play a village belle full of spunk and I wear only traditional clothes with a kondai. But I’ve proved that I can wear a half-saree and still look hot!”

Attitude, she says, is important for an actress. “It’s a quality that determines how you look to the world and how the world views you. I wore my half-sarees with the same attitude that I wear my short skirts, so not once did I look uncool.”

It’s the same attitude that Shreya adopts when offered a film with stellar casting and huge remunerations. “Just because the film boasts of a big hero, I’m not going to shake my hips around him. I need to have some scope to explore my creative instincts too. I also can’t dance and I hate dancing to folk numbers. So I tell my directors that if they want me in their films they better learn to deal with this.” When Shreya got an opportunity to work with Malayalam superstar Mammootty in her second film Black, she ensured she did her share of homework. “He’s a four-time National award winner and I didn’t want to make a fool of myself in front of him. I promised myself I’d come out with flying colours in the film and I did — the film celebrated 150 days!” Public appreciation though isn’t too high on her priority list. “Because along with the accolades there have also been brickbats — that I’m dark or that I’m just another glamorous face. I just told myself, ‘Let them say what they have to, I’ll show them later because my work will speak for itself,’” she says. Competition is another thing the actress is dismissive about. “There’s a lot of it but I’ve carved my own niche. Everybody’s in the race to outdo each other. I’m running my own race. Not many actresses have had the guts to do what I’ve done.” And she’s prepared for the brickbats that come with the profession, including rumours and gossip. “Luckily, people think I’m bizarre because of the work I’ve done— played a gangster, a villain, a cop, so they aren’t too interested in my otherwise boring life,” she says.

Star Talk: Nayantara Enjoys With Them In Bed!

Nayantara says that she loves those three. Well, those three are none other than her favorite books by Ayn Rand.

"Whenever time permits I keep reading the books Atlas Shrugged, We the Living and Fountain Head. They are my favorite books and enjoy them on bed", says Nayantara with smiles.

Nayan is now shining on screen with Nag in the film 'Boss' and she is very busy in Tamil films as well. She is also about to hit the Telugu screen by pairing up with Prabhas shortly.

Indeed, voracious readers are good thinkers. What she must be thinking about Simbhu is known only for her!

Gossip: Venkatesh Blesses Yesteryear's Heroine!

Nadia, a heroine of recent past, is ready for her second innings in Telugu films- not certainly as a heroine. She can contend herself if she is offered the roles of elderly women.

When she was a heroine in both Tamil and Telugu films, she didn't come close to any Telugu hero. She made only Tamil heroes as her intimate friends. Arjun ranked one in the list. Leaving her affairs behind, she married an NRI and went to US to live with him. As her relation with her husband strained, she came back to India and looked out for films.

Arjun came to her rescue. Her efforts have given fruits in Tamil Industry first. He also started telephoning to many Telugu heroes to accommodate her in their films.

Hero Venkatesh responded first and saw she was given the role of sister-in-law in 'Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Veruley'. Arjun's fascination for her is still alive. He is her true boy friend in need.

Tidbit: Hot Bollywood Heroine Craves For Chiranjeevi

Nisha Kothari is one of the hot girls in Bollywood now. Her grooving in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Shiva 2006' added to her fame although the film tasted a failure. She turned the eyes of many, by sizzling in two hot songs in the film with skimpy attire.

Well, will there be any chance for her to act with Mega Star.

Gossip: Feminine Title Sentiment of Victory Venkatesh

Victory Venkatesh appears to be carrying the sentiment of feminine titles. In other sense, he is focusing on the titles with more feminine touch.

His latest film 'Lakshmi' turned a super hit by making big collections. In fact, the character played by him in the film was Lakshmi Narayana. The first name was used to title the film.

Now, his next film in the direction of Boyapati Sreenu is going to be titled as 'Tulasi'. Venkatesh is playing the role with character name Tulasi Reddy in the film. Even that is sounding feminine.

It is known that he is already busy with the film 'Adavari Matalaku Ardhaley Veruley', where there is feminine sound in it. Will this sentiment work well! That has to be wait and seen.

Ask Ramgopal Varma loyalist Nisha Kothari about how different it is working with Ramgopal Varma and other directors, and she informs, “When I worked with other directors in the Varma camp as well as Ramu, there was a big difference. Ramuji is a master at his trade and that is bound to show. Being an actor it is very important to feel free on the sets because helps you deliver a better performance. Ramu lets you be quite free. He demands emotion in every scene that he does. And that makes all the difference as you can see in his films.” Now you know the secret of Ramu’s success!

Film Talk: 'Boss' To Rock Class Audiences!

Nagarjuna's 'Boss' is hitting the screen on 27th of this month. The censor of the film is completed and it came with clean U certificate. Industry circles are saying that the film is targeted mainly on class audiences like 'Manmadhudu' and hoping to create boxoffice sensation.

The music of the film is also attracting the class audiences but not reaching the masses largely. Film circles say that the film would reach the audiences who relished its audio.

Producer Siva Prasada Reddy says, "The film would be a sure entertainer for all sorts of audiences. And it would be a sensational hit on the banner of Kamakshi Movies".

The film is directed by VN Aditya and it grooves 5 heroines beside Nagarjuna.

Star Talk: Ankita's dream comes true!

Reel Buzz: Look what Sameera’s real fans want?

It’s strange how different the perception of the urban and the rural audiences can be. And Sameera found out recently. The actress visited a small town and met her fans there. Even after so many years, she was touched to see that the people still remembered her from her first film Maine Dil Tujko Diya where she played the role of a demure girl. In fact, most of her fans were aghast that she had actually shown skin in films after that. For the city bred Sameera, this trip made her realise the divide in perception. She says, "The trip made me realise what my real fans want from me. I will ensure to live up to their expectations!”
