Behind The Scene: Ramoji treats KCR like NTR!
Those who are observing the media coverage in the Karimnagar byelections can quickly understand how much priority Eenadu and Etv is giving to Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao.
As somebody observed rightly, KCR is getting as much publicity from Eenadu group as N T Rama Rao had got during 1983 Assembly elections. Every statement of his is getting the wider coverage and in every news bulletin, the TRS is getting the maximum coverage. Nobody gave such a wide coverage as Etv and Eenadu did for the "Cricket Kits" issue, which projected the Congress in a bad light. In fact, Etv ran a special news bulletin exclusively on this cricket kits issue.
One can understand the compulsions of Eenadu and Etv, as Ramoji Rao wants to beat the Congress black and blue. But why is he giving so much coverage to the TRS and not the Telugu Desam (which also stands a better chance in Karimnagar) is a million dollars question!
