The interest of film buffs will be more focused on off screen romance if star than their on screen love. Several times, the love affairs of heroines get into fire and only in some occasions something gets fruitful indeed.

Long ago, Simran-Raju Sundaram affair passed on rumors in the air. But silence prevailed from the side of Raju Sundaram. Then, Simarn was linked up with Kamal Hassan and the gossips waned out slowly.

Something similar was crushed between Tarun and Arthi Agarwal little while ago, but that remained as mere gossip and nothing came out officially.

Now it is turn of Nayantara, whose break up with Simbu has taken an ugly turn. Nayan is avoiding most of the media, and is speaking only to a select publishing house, a move that leaves the room open for unflattering interpretations.

Sneha's Naga Ravi (although an off screen guy) affair also brought some scornful waves for Sneha's fans. When Sneha's romance hit the roof, she had the guts to call a press conference and faced the flak alone when romance turned sour. Not only did she emerge as a bundle of courage, a number of producers were convinced of her professionalism.

It is obvious that attempting suicides and getting worried about love lives would mar the careers of heroines. Producers hardly feel secured with such crumbling heroines. Sneha did something bold but Nayan is not.
