While Telugu film producers are protesting dubbing films, Kollywood is proposing for new things there. Tamilnadu film industry is going to give way for big protest from film stars. The issues are going to pot boil there. The producers association in Chennai has made certain resolutions for this New Year. They are passing a proposal in the interest of the fate of film industry to cut short the costs of film making.

The key proposals are as follows:

• Caravans and five star accommodations may not be provided for stars by producers

• Area rights will be given for stars only if they agree to cut down their salaries

• Salaries of stars will cut down and will be paid only depending upon the market rate

• Losses should be shared by highly paid stars and for this purpose the conditions are going to be produced

• Salaries can be given in installments on schedule basis

Many a time, Tollywood and Kollywood get influenced by each other. Well, if such rules are imposed also in Tollywood, will things work well?

Can we expect Chiranjeevi working for Rs. 2 Crore per film?
