Screen Talk: Karunya’s touched by fan’s gesture

On a recent tour to the US, singer Karunya realised the true meaning of hero worship, when a fan insisted that he stay at his house for the few days that he was there. “I was really touched. Heenaji insisted that I stay with her family and her. I obliged since Heenaji is like a motherfigure.”

Karunya was in for the shock of his life when he came to know from her family that Heena had actually broken down and reconstructed an entire bedroom to suit his tastes as he would stay there for a few days. “It is not just that. She used to feed me ice creams by the bucketloads as I love them,” he smiles.
